Dear colleagues!

I would like to express our gratitude to the international community of translators and interpreters for the kind words of solidarity and support, for the desire to help us. In this hard time for our country we stay together and do our best to make the Victory come as soon as possible. Some of us are fighting in the Ukrainian army or territorial defence forces, others translate and interpret pro bono, which means we have lost the sources of income.

To support Ukrainian translators and interpreters financially, the Ukrainian Association of Translators and Interpreters created the UATI Support Fund.

Update (May 22, 2022)

We are really grateful to all who has made donations to the UATI Support Fund – individual translators and interpreters, and also translation companies from over 10 countries of the world.
We highly appreciate efforts of our sister associations of FIT that helped share the information about our fundraising campaign
We would like to thank The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta, Toronto, its President Raula Salam, Secretary Ksenia Maryniak, Executive Council, Members at Large, and Staff of ATIA for their decision to transfer one year membership fees of the ATIA as a donation for our fund.

We highly appreciate the contribution that Anna Fisher, our colleague from the USA, made to collect donations for the Fund.

Update (July 21, 2022)

ÖVGD, the Austrian Court Interpreters Association, made a donation of € 1,000 to UATI.

Thank you for the help to our colleagues in Ukraine during the difficult time!
